Personal and vaccination data is transmitted securely between your computer
and Vaccsbook using encryption; note the "https:"
instead of just "http:" and the little closed padlock in the URL address bar (top left).

Your data is kept private by requiring a password to Sign-In.

Your data is never shared with any other organization or individual except:
A physician or nurse to whom you have directly given permission to
view and update your vaccinations.
If you explicitly agree, as described in the FAQ and User Manual,
when your vaccinations are be emailed to your Public Health unit.
(To set/unset this, use the menu items under "Manage Family".)

Emails reminding you of upcoming vaccinations contain your name, the type
of vaccination, and the date on which it is needed.
Emails sent to Public Health also contain your name and date of birth,
and optionally the name and location of the health care provided who gave
the vaccination.
Emails sent by Vaccsbook (like most all of the 200 billion worldwide emails sent
every day) are not encrypted.

At any time, you may close your account on Vaccsbook.
This does not simply archive your personal information and
vaccination record;
it deletes this information completely and it
can never be recovered.
